New large-scale project in Casablanca’s coastline, a city that never ceases to amaze us! This project reflects the Sovereign’s keen interest in the socio-economic and sustainable development of the economical hub of Morocco, aiming to strengthen its touristic attractiveness and improve the living conditions of its citizens. The project is initiated by the Convention on the Coastal Development of the Region of Casablanca-Settat, signed on September 26th, 2014, under the presidency of the King. It also takes into account the development of the coastlines of Dar Bouazza, Aïn Diab, Aïn Sebaâ and Mohammedia, for an overall budget of 700 million Dirhams. Mobilizing an investments of around 200 million Dirhams (excluding the construction of an underground car park with 1,000 spots), the development of the maritime promenade of Hassan II Mosque will start with the contruction of an urban park open to the public from Hassan II Mosque up to El Hank. This 1.5 Km sequence will include a gazebo (with an agora, an event platform, cafés), a recreation area (with a playground, a fitness area, fountains), a cultural center for selling artisanal articrafts, as well as restaurants, cafes and underground parking. This project will also involve the development of a stroll along the ocean until it reaches El Hank, shadowed by a vegetal wall adapted to the structure and requiring minimal maintenance, playgrounds for children, sports areas (jogging, walking, cycling), and public sanitary facilities.
